I am just starting a new book that I found called "A Man Named Dave." It is written by Dave Pelzer. As explained in the first book he wrote called "A Child Called 'It", he was raised by an abusive mother who hated him. She would punish him and make him do horrible things for no reason. She had a deep hatred for her own son and no one knows why. And one of the worst things is that Dave has a brother and his mom loves his brother. I don't think anyone will ever know why his mother only hates Dave.
I chose this book because I have read A Child Called "It" and I was interested in this book. Pelzer is a really good author and so far, I enjoy reading his books. Abusive and neglection happens all the time around the world so it's not just his case. However, this was an extreme occasion because of the punishments that his mother gave him. His first book was a good read and I am hoping this one is too.

The Jordan Rules
The book I chose from Goodreads is The Jordan Rules. I chose it because I like basketball and it seems like a very interesting book. This book is about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls of the 1990's. It's also about how the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan, lead his team to 6 NBA championships. I feel like I would like book because I really enjoy reading about all types of sports.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys sports. It looks like a great just by reading the summary/preview. Most of the biographies written by professional athletes are really good because no one know their life better than themselves. When they write about themselves you get to see the thoughts that go through their head and what it takes to become a professional athlete.

The Final Four Summary
The Final Four by Paul Volponi is about two teams who have very different personalitys but the same goal: winning. The teams being the Michigan State Spartans and the Troy Trojans, who face-off in the semifinals of the NCAA tournament. The winner will advance to the National Championship so both teams want to win badly. The team captain for the Spartans, Malcolm McBride, is a great player but he only looks out for himself and is very selfish. However, on the other hand, the captain for the Trojans, Roko Bacic, is all about the team and puts himself last to make they get a team win. To find out who is a better leader and wins this heated matched, you will have to read the book.
A type of reader who would enjoy this book would be someone who not only admires sports but as well as action. I give The Final Four a four star rating because overall, it was a really good that I enjoyed a lot. It was super exciting and I always wanted to keep reading to see what would happen next. I would recommend this book to anybody looking for a good read.
