A word I found in A Man Named Dave that I am unfamiliar with is 'raved'. The sentence is, "When I was younger, mother would drag me out of bed in the middle of the night, have me stand in front of her as she poured herself glass after glass and
raved on for hours." (Pelzer 14) After looking it up, I now know that raved means
to talk wildly, as in delirium. This book also has other good vocabulary words as well.
Raved is a great vocab word and I will start using it
